Summer is half over.
I realized I hadn't updated in a while. Not much to update on. Still on dialysis each night. It's not to bad, just have to be home to do so. Sometimes it's a little sad because I have to miss out on some things...but it's keeping me semi healthy so I'll keep chugging along.
I've felt better and had a little more energy at times. There was about two weeks where I felt amazing....sadly I've been tired again. But my daughter and I are trying to have as much fun as we can and most days we do at least one good thing together. :-). I'm still looking for my motivation. haha.
As far as health, my numbers seem to be staying steady. I did have to give up Dr. Pepper. That was rough. The doctor thinks I have a hernea now so that's really frustrating. I am to go back to the sergean and see what he says. I really don't want to have to go back.
I'm enjoying just being present this summer. We have spent a lot of time with my cousin and her kids and that's been fun. Especially because there's a baby. :-). My car was great, but we got reended and they totaled my brand new car. I'm waiting on that process again and it's still slow. I'm not looking forward to the car looking again and it saddens me a lot because it was a tough decision and I loved the car, but it's not something that is easily obtained so I will be looking at different brands this next week. Hopefully my loan will be paid off and I'll have a good downpayment.
The hardest thing this summer is I can't swim and it saddens my kid. But we will make it through. We have become rock painting pros. I haven't heard from my transplant people at all. Remember if you would like to get tested to see if you are a match feel free to start the process to find out. You would call Tracey Dickey at 816-932-2214 or go to the website

There is no need to let me know you are looking unless it appears you may be a match. I have type A blood. A living donor is much better than a non living donor, but I'll take either. The nice thing about a living donor is as long as dialysis is working, we can schedule to fit our schedules. That is a big decision though.
Mostly I'm trying to stay as positive as I can, spend time with family and friends, and keep rested. Summer is amazing and I'm so glad I get to have one. Thank you for continued prayers. Hug the ones you love, you never know when things will change quickly
